The Grounding Project, funded by the Maudsley Charity, is a specialist service for individuals with PTSD. It provides access to an urban garden, offering a safe space to connect with nature, practice calming techniques, and receive professional support.
Led by Clinical Psychologist Dr. Gemma Eke and Horticultural and Integrative Psychotherapist Myriam Sarens, the project helps participants rebuild trust in their environment. The journey begins with a 12-week course designed for those with lower environmental tolerance.
