Silverfit, a charity led by older people for older people, promotes happier, healthier aging through physical activity while combating social isolation. The unique ‘sandwich’ formula of socializing, exercise, and socializing for older individuals increases activity levels, fosters new friendships, boosts confidence, and enhances enjoyment of life as individuals age.
Across nine boroughs, each venue offers a choice of activities from Nordic Walking, Yoga, Walking Football, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Badminton, indoor cycling, gym/ fitness classes, indoor rowing and Bollywood dance, which means that everyone should be able to find an activity to enjoy, regardless of ability or experience.
