Breaking Out of The Bubble (formally PFL – People First Lambeth) has been going since the 1980s. They are a charity group that over the years have supported 100s of people with learning difficulties in Lambeth.Â
Their Mission is to support and enable adults with learning difficulties to have a voice and to live fuller involved lives safely. They achieve this by offering peer support and activities such as:
The BOB Group which is a space for people with learning difficulties to share their views, have their voices heard and speak up about any issues they have.  It takes place at their base in Brixton every Thursday, from 1.30pm to 3pm. You can also draw, paint or just chat. They have all the equipment that you need to do art and provide Free refreshments. Everybody is welcome! Â
They also offer local cafes and organisations in Lambeth, training, advice and support on how to work with people with learning difficulties. They want everyone to feel welcome, comfortable and safe when getting out in the community. Thus Breaking Out of the Bubble!
