Every Pound Counts is Lambeth Councill’s Welfare Rights Service. The service is for Lambeth residents with a severe long-term health condition or disability or residents caring for a disabled child or child experiencing long-term severe ill health.
The service provides benefit checks to identify whether the person is receiving the correct level of financial help and provides the support needed to correct underpayments of benefits. If benefits are underpaid, the service can help the person to appeal the benefit decision, for example, where the claim has been stopped, refused, or the amount of benefit reduced.Â
